#6. Act III, Scene I

...In Act 3 ,Scene 1, Hamlet has the debate every man & woman must have with themselves at least a few times in their lives ...

“To be, or not to be  ???????
That is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune ….... “…....’Tis a consummation ........ Devoutly to be wish’d........ To die, to sleep — To sleep – perchance to dream .......  ayyyy, there’s the rub .......For in that sleep of death what dreams may come ???????
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil…....”

Hamlet is haunted. His sense of justice , honor ,& loyalty are the recipe for his madness. He is at a crossroads where he may be able to stake out a fairly comfortable life if he falls in line & is able to shake off a few assasination attempts. This option offends his honor &  leads him to contemplate suicide to escape his predicament, leaving the whole sickening affair to the debauched & corrupted court to wallow in. Alas, he imagines the possibility of that slumber in oblivion being interrupted by dreams. Dreams haunted by "murder most foul". Righteous vengeance, justice, & honor squandered for eternity with no recourse.
He takes the only option a man of honor  can take. He sets about to extract justice from those that wronged his family , his people ,& himself...
I understand people facing harassment from state wanting to just make it go away via some compromise or simply complying with their demands regardless of whether they're just or not.

We're living in a society premised on  notions of justice being about winning & losing ... If you stand to lose more jellybeans following the process , you don't pursue it. The racketeers that sit on the benches are fully aware of this. Like the  bourgeoisie sycophants that Hamlet had to contend with, their driving concern is padding their fat asses with the wealth they extract from their victims. Every rule of engagement they set is  a hoop to jump through to attain your rights ...
And make no mistake , this contempt for due process, free speech, bars against illegal searches & seizures ,  rules of evidence , rules of discovery , rules of procedure like continuances, notice, rules on judicial conduct, ethics, & conflicts of interest ,is the fault of the American people ....
Like Chuck Bukowski stated : “I guess the only time most people think about injustice is when it happens to them.”

Like Hamlet , I'm driven by a ghost ... I'm  bound to walk to walk this planet in a manner that I would have wanted my ghost to walk it. I'm bound by honor & an undying love to call out injustice & fight it everywhere I see it... From evictions of the disabled , bullies on a barstool , to commissioners with agendas trying to cover their ass... My resolve is final ... My resolve is an act of love ...  My resolve is my only tie to this planet & they'll need to wipe me off it before I relent ...
